MURDOCK

This Carolina Dog mix and his brother were transferred to us as puppies, a mere two-hours before their brief lives were scheduled to come to an end. Little is known about their back-story, but they were picked up as strays with evidence of physical trauma - presumably from abuse. The outcome of that, for Murdock, was what appears to be trauma related brain injury, with resulting developmental delays and visual "miswiring."  While improvements were evident and some major life successes were achieved (including a period of adoption), Murdock has had the experience of what seems to be seizure-related aggression. He is typically a happy-go-lucky guy who loves his stuffy toys and pets from volunteers. However, his post seizure confusion and aggression makes him too unpredictable to be adopted out. Murdock is loved and cherished by those who know him and will live out his days at Annie’s.

Murdock also has some other health issues that require specialty food and supplements that can be very expensive. If you would like to help this loving boy, consider sponsoring him to help us pay for his food, supplements, vet bills and his favorite; stuffed animals.
