Several Carolina Dogs

A group of 13 Carolina Dogs came to Annie’s Orphans via breeder release. Two were pregnant, one died of a heart defect, some bore scars and one had serious neurological issues. Of this pack, 9 adults remain in sanctuary. They are mostly wild and anxious dogs. We are working with rehabbing those that show potential for being adoptable. These dogs have had a profound effect on Anna and the history of Annie’s Orphans. You can read more about the breed and their history with pour shelter, here.
