Tink

Tink
This little, red Dachshund likes people and enjoys attention and snuggle-time. She is also good with other dogs, with the exception being that she needs to be fed separately, as she has food-aggression. Tink is between 8 and 9 years old and will need a home with no small children.

Toto

Toto
This senior Chiweenie will need a special home. He is overweight and needs gentle exercise on a regular basis. Toto is good with other dogs and loves lap-time. He would like a female caregiver, as he is not very good with men. A home without small children is also needed. He is between 10 and 11 years old.

Trina

Trina
Trina is accepting of everything and everybody. She will make someone a very happy, loving companion. This dark-ginger-colored girl was an early-morning dump-off at Annie's Orphans and has been waiting here for quite a long time, patiently biding time until her person comes along. She is probably 7 years of age. It is difficult to determine which breed Trina is mixed with, but she is a large girl. She is very friendly, energetic, trainable and is hoping to make a life-long buddy soon.

Tyson

Tyson
Tyson is a German Terrier, with true-to-breed traits. He is very adoptable and likes kids -- but needs to be the only dog on the home-front, as he is aggressive with most dogs (a few exceptions apply). He will need a job and ample exercise, as well as a secure yard. Tyson is between 6 1/2 and 7 years old and came from a high-kill, out-of-state shelter.

Wolfie

Wolfie
Wolfie was born at Annie's Orphans, to a pregnant mother who was accepted from an out-of-state shelter prior to being euthanized. He was adopted out as a baby along with his sister Bailey. He is 6 years old and was returned within the first year of his life for joint (with his sister) aggression toward another household pet. Additionally, Wolfie develops a strong bond with a person and has shown protective/guarding behaviors when other people approach the primary individual. Adoption is a possibility to only the right individual who has knowledge of the breed and of handling challenging behaviors in dogs. The necessary living arrangement would include a quiet setting with a solo person.

Zeb

Zeb
Zeb will need a brush-up on his skills, but has been through formal obedience training. He is a special boy: good with dogs, sweet-natured. He will prefer an adult household and one specific individual with whom to bond. Zeb is around 4 years old.

Zoe

Zoe
Zoe is around 5 years old. When she arrived here, she was in her final days of pregnancy and had been traveling, as a stray, on a busy Utah highway. She loves people (sometimes, with a bit more enthusiasm than is necessary). Zoe will need a secure yard, as she has exhibited some pretty impressive Houdini-skills. She also has shown some destructive patterns/chewing in the past. She will need a companion who can be with her a lot --someone who works from home or is retired -- and has the patience for redirecting these behaviors. Another doggy companion would also be ideal.
