Tatum

Tatum
Tatum is still looking for her life-time person. She is a "tom-boy," not into holding and petting, but a good watch-dog and a fun-loving companion. Tatum is a little ginger-colored girl, who was picked up as a stray, scared and alone. She is at a stable weight and in good form, after her time of having to scrounge for food and hide from dangers. Due to unknown experiences, she came into our shelter skittish/nervous and has made some headway in that area. Still, she will need a patient and loving handler -- someone with whom she can develop trust, who can accept her for her good qualities and not require a lap-dog. She is best suited for a quiet living situation, a household with no children. "Tater" is a part of a "pack" of small dogs out here, loves her pals and playtime and would most likely do quite well with another small household dog. She is probably 6 years old, around 5 to 6 pounds and infinitely cute!!

Thor

Thor
Thor is just over a year old and is very innocent and puppy-like; in part, due to (prior) limited exposure to the big broad world...exposure that is so necessary for a healthy, active dog. He was locked in a small outdoor kennel for much of his first year. Thor will benefit from an active, engaged and present owner, who has plenty of time for him. He is pure white, with one blue eye and one brown, a long, slender body and a fairly pronounced underbite. He is fully vetted and ready to meet a life-long friend.

Tink

Tink
This little, red Dachshund likes people and enjoys attention and snuggle-time. She is also good with other dogs, with the exception being that she needs to be fed separately, as she has food-aggression. Tink is between 8 and 9 years old and will need a home with no small children.

Toto

Toto
This senior Chiweenie will need a special home. He is overweight and needs gentle exercise on a regular basis. Toto is good with other dogs and loves lap-time. He would like a female caregiver, as he is not very good with men. A home without small children is also needed. He is between 10 and 11 years old.

Tyson

Tyson
Tyson is a German Terrier, with true-to-breed traits. He is very adoptable and likes kids -- but needs to be the only dog on the home-front, as he is aggressive with most dogs (a few exceptions apply). He will need a job and ample exercise, as well as a secure yard. Tyson is between 7 1/2 and 8 years old and came from a high-kill, out-of-state shelter.

Wolfie

Wolfie
Wolfie was born at Annie's Orphans, to a pregnant mother who was accepted from an out-of-state shelter prior to being euthanized. He was adopted out as a baby along with his sister Bailey. He is 6 years old and was returned within the first year of his life for joint (with his sister) aggression toward another household pet. Additionally, Wolfie develops a strong bond with a person and has shown protective/guarding behaviors when other people approach the primary individual. Adoption is a possibility to only the right individual who has knowledge of the breed and of handling challenging behaviors in dogs.  The necessary living arrangement would include a quiet setting with a solo person.

Zeb

Zeb
Zeb will need a brush-up on his skills, but has been through formal obedience training. He is a special boy: good with dogs, sweet-natured. He will prefer an adult household and one specific individual with whom to bond. Zeb is around 4 years old.

Zoe

Zoe
Zoe is around 5 years old. When she arrived here, she was in her final days of pregnancy and had been traveling, as a stray, on a busy Utah highway. She loves people (sometimes, with a bit more enthusiasm than is necessary). Zoe will need a secure yard, as she has exhibited some pretty impressive Houdini-skills. She also has shown some destructive patterns/chewing in the past. She will need a companion who can be with her a lot --someone who works from home or is retired -- and has the patience for redirecting these behaviors. Another doggy companion would also be ideal.
