A New Litter: Puppies!

A New Litter: Puppies!
Another young, stray/abandoned mother was brought in, with 5 babies in tow. The babies are 2 months old now and weaned; two are tan & white like Mom, one is black & white and two are tri-colored. Mom (seen in the last picture) is very affectionate and sweet-natured, happy to welcome help with her little ones. She, too, will be available to a great home after necessary vet-work. See the individual listings for each puppy -- Their names are Diamond, Diva, Magic, Monet and Moses. These puppies can only be adopted out locally/within our region.

Diamond

Diamond
More than your average diamond in the "ruff," our little boy is a true gem. He is tan and white, with a white namesake shape on his back. Cuter than cute, Diamond is ready for just the right home and will adopted out locally.

Magic

Magic
Don't we all want a little Magic in our lives? This sweetheart is the smallest of the litter and has beautiful coloration (perhaps a little Rat Terrier in the mix?). Her personality is, seemingly, more quiet and person-centered, and she loves being around her primary human-caregiver out here! Magic will only be adopted out locally.

Moses

Moses
Moses is a precious little thing...reflective and watchful, he's a gentle, more laid-back boy. Tan with light markings and a "halo" of white on his head, Moses is a little angel. He will be looking for a local adoption.

Tyson

Tyson
Tyson is a German Terrier, with true-to-breed traits. He is very adoptable and likes kids -- but needs to be the only dog on the home-front, as he is aggressive with most dogs (a few exceptions apply). He will need a job and ample exercise, as well as a secure yard. Tyson is between 7 1/2 and 8 years old and came from a high-kill, out-of-state shelter.

Eddie

Eddie
Eddie is a German Terrier who is adoptable to the right person -- an individual with a lot of dog experience and training know-how. He has abundant energy that needs to be applied in a positive direction. He will require a secured, fenced yard and a home with no other pets, as he is unpredictable with other dogs. He can also be unpredictable with strangers. Eddie is between 7 1/2 and 8 years old and came from a high-kill, out-of-state shelter. He has been treated for heart-worm disease and is clear to be adopted.

Amber

Amber
This young, female dog was rescued, along with her brother, by a big-hearted individual who found the two -- needy and malnourished -- at the trailhead of Chaco Canyon. Amber is on the very small side of medium. She was quite skinny upon arrival and now is bouncing over to the other side, so an ongoing dose of puppy-style activity would be the best order-of-the-day for her. Amber has a sweet temperament and is around a year old. Following spay, this little girl is looking for a secure home where she will never experience abandonment and hunger again.

Angus

Angus
This kid looks like a tall Cairn Terrier. Angus has recovered from being bitten by a rattlesnake and has been fostered out, since personal reasons prevent his former owner from keeping him. His best buddy is Bentley, also on this site. Angus is territorial with other dogs, but otherwise seems to have an even approach to the world. Angus is most likely house-trained, but we don't know for certain yet.
